DESCRIPTION:St Cystennin has a long history and it is suggested that there
  was a church on this site from 338AD\, dedicated to one of the Roman Empe
 rors\, Constantine. However\, we know that there was a chapel on the site 
 from around 1180 when monks came to Conwy\; the first real church was buil
 t in the great era of church building in North Wales around 1480. Five of 
 the stained glass window panels dating from this period have been restored
