About This Event
Today the Wybrnant valley is a quiet and remote place, yet it holds great significance to the history and culture of Wales. The farmhouse was the birthplace of Bishop William Morgan, the first person to translate the entire Bible into Welsh, ensuring the survival of the language. To celebrate Open Doors, Tŷ Mawr will be open an additional day (Saturday 5 September), with talks on its history and cultural significance across the weekend.
